Richard graduated from Liverpool University Vet School in 2004 and spent several years working in mixed practice in Devon, before deciding he wanted to pursue a horses-only career and founding Stringer Equine in 2009. He has a particular interest in equine reproduction and lameness, keeping sports horses running and investigating poor performance.
