Equine dentistry and dental surgery

Regular dental checks are an essential aspect of equine care throughout a horse’s life.

All of our vets perform routine dentistry and are equipped with a comprehensive range of portable and motorised dental equipment.

This includes a wireless oroscope (dental camera), extraction tools for both horses and ponies, and specialised dental gags for radiography (x-rays).

We are pleased to offer:

Routine dentals inclusive of sedation costs (group savings are available).
Management and treatment of more complex dental cases.
Dental x-ray.
Tooth extractions.
Referral to expert centres for diastema treatment and fillings.

We are also happy to work with your qualified Equine Dental Technician (EDT) to provide sedation for routine dentistry, if required, and accept referrals from EDTs and other vet practices in the area for veterinary dentistry procedures, which can be performed at your horses stable, such as tooth extractions.
