Richard M Stringer BVSc MRCVS

Originally from Yorkshire, Richard qualified from Liverpool University and has since made his home on Dartmoor. He has worked in Devon as a mixed practitioner for several years before deciding to follow his main interest specialising in equine veterinary work.

With a keen interest in equine reproduction Richard owns several broodmares and breeds sport-horses and Friesians. Richard rides regularly and hunts as often as possible and is a subscriber to the Mid Devon Hunt.

When the horses allow, Richard likes to think he’s Gordon Ramsey and cooks for family and friends, ideally with Rugby on in the background.

Catherine Farrer VN

Catherine is an experienced qualified veterinary nurse who has worked extensively with both horses and small animals in a head nurse capacity at several practices and has also been employed to exercise point-to-pointers. She is a horse owner herself and has a particular interest in cross country jumping.
